Alba Orbital successfully launched the Alba Cluster 7 mission onboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket (‘Transporter-8’) on 12th June 2023 at 21:35 UTC from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This mission served as Alba Orbital’s fifth successful orbital flight, with 6 PocketQubes on board successfully deployed. This takes the company’s total launched satellites up to 31, the most for any organization worldwide!

Onboard this rideshare mission were 6 spacecraft comprised of 5cm PocketQube pico-satellites 6 different countries. These were developed by Alba Orbital (Scotland), Hello Space (Turkey), BME (Hungary), AMSAT-EA (Spain), ROM-SPACE (Romania) & Ariel University (Israel), with functions such as Earth Observation, Communication, Amateur Radio, Technology demonstration & Electrosmog monitoring.
